Literary Internship Responsibilities
Author seeks PR/Marketing student(s) to help promote recently released Young Adult novel.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
- Generating press releases
- Booking nationwide author events
- Promoting www.thelinebook.com and increasing online awareness
- Assisting with graphic and web design (if capable)
- Motivating sales by obtaining publicity through publications and trade periodicals
- Various administrative duties
Requirements
Part or Full Time internship positions available. All positions are non-paying and are for class credit only.
Part time: 10-20 hours a week
Full time: 20+ hours
No formal office hours - flex time encouraged. Author is based out of North Hollywood, so position is via telecommute. Former band geeks strongly encouraged to apply!
